Iceross Seal-In® X5 TF

The X5 part of the name comes from the five rings which produce an airtight seal as the user steps into the socket. The liner and the rings conform beautifully to the shape of the residual limb and the inside of the socket. This creates an excellent fit and helps to distribute pressure evenly and avoid uncomfortable pressure peaks.
There is no need for a sleeve (sometimes used with other liners to keep the socket in place), which means greater freedom of movement. A button on the socket valve releases the airtight seal instantly, allowing the user to step out of the socket as easily as they step in, or simply release it while seated.

The technical stuff
Iceross liners from Össur offer security, durability and comfort. Produced with patented silicone blends, they stabilize soft tissues very effectively. By conforming closely to the contours of the limb and the socket Iceross also minimize rotational movement within the socket and vertical stretching (pistoning), ensuring a more comfortable experience. Silicone is bio-inert, meaning it will not react with the skin in any way. Iceross Seal-In X5 is made with DermoSil® silicone, incorporating Aloe Vera and Vaseline® for active skincare - available in standard or conical profile (for wider limbs).
